Platelets are one of the blood components that circulates in an inactivated form through the bloodstream. These platelets are activated by acute tissue trauma where coagulation and wound healing is facilitated.
A method that maximizes these abilities by concentrating the platelets and applying it to treatments is called PRP therapy.
What is PRP?
Platelet-Rich Plasma, also known as autologous conditioned plasma, is a concentrate of platelet-rich plasma protein derived from whole blood, centrifuged to remove red blood cells.

FAQ
Can’t I just make my own PRP with regular blood tubes and save money?
It is not recommended because standard blood tubes are not rated for re-entry back into the human body. This means that regular blood tubes shouldn’t be used to make PRP and then inject back into the patient. In the event that there was an accident or mistake, it is possible that medical malpractice insurance might be affected if there were unapproved methods involved in the procedure.
Why is your PRP kit so much less expensive than other brands?
