Airport transfer

Your private chauffeur will assist you as soon as you arrive at Cape Town International Airport. He will take care of your luggage and offer refreshments to make your arrival more pleasant.

Private chauffeur

A private chauffeur, with or without your car of preference, can be arranged for you. Your private chauffeur can be booked for the entire duration of your stay or only upon your request.

Accommodation concierge service

MT will ensure your accommodation is functional, safe, clean and hygienic, and suits your needs. We will also stock the fridge with essentials and/or your requested shopping items.

Chaperon service

MT can arrange for a chaperon to assist you on your doctor’s visit, ensuring you are on time and at the right place. We are also available to accompany you on excursions of your choice.

Private chef

MT can organise a private chef to cater your meals and work out a meal plan for you.

Butler service

MT can arrange a butler service to attend to all your in-house needs.

Pre-operative care assistance

MT will take you through the pre-operative care manual and ensure it is understood and followed.

Post-operative nursing staff

MT has a solid network of highly trained nursing staff in and around Cape Town: day and night. Our nursing staff are highly trained and specialise in working with cosmetic and reconstructive post-operative patients. They are fully qualified to administer medication as prescribed by the doctor.

Entertainment booking service

Cape Town is a bustling city, filled with renowned restaurants, impressive museums, top theatre and dance performances and close enough to the Winelands and other beautiful parts of the country to arrange a day-outing. MT will be more than happy to assist you with bookings or creating an entertainment program for you while on your surgery vacation.

Retreat booking service

MT is a strong believer in the symbiotic relationship between the mind and the body. Both should be considered and pampered equally.

Treatments

Yoga / breathing, personal coaching, energy cleansing and balancing, psychotherapy, meditation, osteopathy, lymph drainage and specialised massage therapy.

MT also retains a network of top beauty therapists who are able to cater to your needs in the comfort of your accommodation or at their premises.

Being a foreigner, I am very aware that there may be challenges for some people visiting our beautiful city.

My Story

How Mappa Travel started

Due to a bad surfing accident I had to undergo emergency facial plastic surgery several years ago. Faith brought me to one of the best plastic surgeons in Cape Town, Dr. Sean Moodley. He saved my face and with that a big part of my career as a business woman, events manager and experiences coordinator.

Due to ongoing treatments and extensive interactions with the doctor, I realised many of his overseas patients struggled to make their stay in Cape Town compatible with their surgery. Often the timing or the type of accommodation was amiss and there was little to no personalised aftercare…making their overseas surgery experience not as smooth and pleasant as what it could be.

This knowledge together with my expertise as a project and experiences coordinator for bespoke business travellers, prompted me in starting up a medical concierge service company dedicated to plastic and reconstructive surgery, cosmetic medicine and dental surgery.

I live accordingly to the principle of ‘inspect what you expect’, making double sure all is in order, ensuring a high standard of quality with an eye for detail and an utmost attention to my clients’ needs.
